Normal ninteen year olds are at home, dreading the end of summer, dreading school. Seeing all their friends, holding part time minimum wage jobs. Planning their majors. Living with their parents.
Me? I'm an over achiever. I hold a full time, two semester co-op. I'll be taking 6 more credits on top this fall. Im working every day at the gym to get to a sustainable weight and manage blood sugar. I hardly ever see any friends or family, I'm not even in the same state. I'm the only co-op not 21...I'm not even 20!
I have my co-op friends here who are really great people, but I'm just so homesick for a day off, lay in my bed in commerce, meeting up at mongo and seeing the latest at amc 20. I do so well acting like I'm not a teen anymore, but I am. I'm a fish out of water. I hope it pays off in the end. All of it.
