we as the human race are intelligent American creatures.

we have proven time and time again that in a disaster the American people come together.
we make things happen.

Fire is a very primitive form of heat but it is one of the most easiest things to create. we understand fire at the molecular level. we get it. okay, so if we know how to put out a fire and we have in this country a navy, a air force, a national guard, a army, we even have our own state mandated 'fire spotters' that have to be in every helicopter before it takes off.

so 19 helicopters were available from the Navy but because there were no fire spotters....

they had 24 hours to report for "official" fire spotting duty.

...so the next day the fire spotters reported for work. and clocked in?

by this time the winds had picked up to unsafe flying conditions.

how hard is it to spot a fire? i didn't know you needed a badge to say
"hey that looks like fire alpha tango bravo" "maybe you should drop some water on it in a sweeping motion indigo charlie zulu," "then do it again"

6 bodies found inside homes burnt to the ground?

are they going to be investigating theses deaths? because i think some major branches of government should be put on trial for murder, throw in a few fire spotters we'll call it a day.

theres not enough firemen, theres not enough fire spotters, theres not enough helicopters?

why cant the 5 o'clock news teach me how to fight a fire thats 25 ft tall?

something needs to change. in order for us to remain intelligent creatures.
we must demand that everything humanly possible is being done at the snap of a finger (preferably my fingers). is there a fire? whos gonna put it out? levels of command. figure it out people

i think we need fighter planes with water drop tanks attached. if they die from high winds, their a Hero.

its the American way.
