moving day
...so i obviously haven't been posting on livejournal regularly at all. honestly, i think i'm pretty much done with it. although i want to continue to write and share things with my friends, it's just been increasingly hard to get myself to post here, and i feel like i need a fresh start and a new blog. so, i got one. it has a nice, sleek, modern look with a really easy-to-use layout, and it's a platform that really encourages you to share stuff, no matter how trivial and short or long-winded and thoughtful. anyway, here it is:

now, to be sure, my departure from lj isn't meant as an indictment of any of you, obviously. i love all my old lj friends and there have been so many treasured interactions, both here and on your blogs, which i am very happy and thankful to have had. i'll still try to keep up with you, and i'm not going to delete this blog (there's no need), so i will be able to peruse and comment. i hope at least some of you will want to keep in touch with me as well. i'm not leaving the internet or anything, and i'm not hard to find. it's so easy to stay in contact these days, isn't it? i'll see you around. take care, and i hope you're all doing well.
