My Honest opinion
It's nice to see yung peeps getting involved wit there community and all that but sometimes i fear people do it for the wrong reasons...
trying to be seen and noticed or be different.......oh don't get me wrong i'm glad 2 see yung peeps getting all proactive and voting and letting their voices be heard in their town or community but to try to be in a leadership position and help manage a city is far beyond the experiences of our short lived lives......we like 2 think that we know just as much and our experiences can amount to that of our elders....but truth be told it's nothing.....yes u have opinions, u would like to see things change, u want 2 help and make things better but what do u really know about making the lives of ur fellow citizens a lil better? especially when the majority of ur fellow citizens are a good 10-20 yrs ur Sr. what do u know? when ur motto is "Be seen to be scene" and u try ur damnedest to be artsy and worldly when all u've experienced of the world is what u've read in books and articles? Yes u will get support the majority of which will be peers in ur age group....hell i support u....but the truth of the matter is the established adults and seniors will not put their support and the fate of their city into the hands of what they would view as a child at worst, a 'young' adult at best. Not a candidate worthy of their consideration
