And one thing I talked with the guys about on this note was how the most technologically advanced countries are the ones that regularly faced war/battle.
Oh, if I was in the military and got my arms shot off I would SOOOO not be looking for an artificial hand. I would want a pair of giant ass two-points-of-articulation arms with a gatling gun instead instead of a hand. The "close hand" motion would be "fire". I would of course combine this with the power loader legs Daniel's linking to to help carry the thousands of bullets that would feed into it, and of course to help support the weight of the quadruple-thickness body armor I would wear. I would also have a helmet with a megaphone in it.
