For the people who have no right commenting on things that they didn't see: That Walk-In was given to Conni from another Howie's store, after it had been in storage for about 5 years. I think she told me it's about 15 years old altogether. The table that I supposedly broke, it was shipped to our Howie's with a piece unattached, a piece that Greg accidentally dislodged a few weeks ago, before I allegedly broke it. So no, to settle your wager, I didn't actually get into trouble for it, since that Walk-in door has numerous dents in it, and the table was broken way before I had my 'temper tantrum.'
About the food WE ALL give away.... well yeah, I've given my friends food, and I've let empoloyees take home food when they aren't supposed to. But I've also charged my friends for food and said no to employees wanting to take home food. I try to be lenient about it without letting it get out of hand. After all, the store is losing money whenever that happens, so moderation should be the key. I could name another 'person in charge' who goes balls to the wall handing out free shit, who has chased down women that walk into Blockbuster and asked them what they want to eat for free, who has had free food DELIVERED to frat houses in hopes of getting into their Luau, etc.
The employees are supposed to get what they want to eat for free. For themselves. If they happen to hook up their friends once in a while, I have no problem with it. But ONCE IN A WHILE doesn't happen anymore. My problem is that it happens a whole lot when 3 of the managers aren't there. Can you guess which ones? And because of that, I seem to be coming out as the asshole since no one can hook up their friends when I work. And I've got a little following that is trying to get me fired because of it? I'm not trying to start a fight here, but it seems to me that's a little unfair.
Oh, and everyone check this commercial out. www.jesus-action-figure.com .... it's pretty fucking funny.
I'm glad you got to get some things off your chest, but I don't care about the pre-nate shape of the stuff. I simply stated that if Dusty did the same thing and Connie asked, you would tell her who did it. I like how you drama-queened up this whole thing, but I didn't make any comment that suggested I was present when you lost your temper. I don't give a rats ass if you burn the place down as long as you 'fess up yourself or don't get mad when someone else does. It does seem unfair that everyone has rallied together to get you fired. There's this thing called accountability. The problems could stem from something as simple as communication or as difficult as the people that you work with are immature. Just find a way to be the boss without being the bad guy. Have you ever tried telling the other "person in charge" that it's pretty lame how freely he gives out pizza? Although it prolly wouldn't help anything, you can always say you tried.
