I've been on my diet for almost 2 weeks now and I weighed in for the first time yesterday. I haven't been able to tell any difference, but I was hopeful. I've already lost 14 lbs. YAY!!! I wanted to keep it a secret until I actually got to see my friends, but I'm too excited about it. So, yah... I'm trying to lose at least 150 lbs. before it's all over. Only 136 to go. I weighed in the last time I went to the Dr.'s office and realized that I had gained 20 lbs. in about 2 months. I weighed 300 lbs. I started to get really depressed with my weight after that and decided it was time for a change. I've been on and off diets my whole life and I've never really stuck to one or kept the weight off. In the 7th grade I lost 50 lbs. on Atkins but gained it all back within a year or two. David has really helped me. Without him I don't think I could do it. I'm on a 2,000 calorie, low sugar, low carb., low fat diet. So what can I eat you ask? NOTHING!!! Eh, it's not that bad. I was hungry for about a week but my stomach has started to shrink some. I'm really happy with the way things are going though. I couldn't keep it to myself.
