Oh Joy... A Liver Biopsy For Christmas
I got all of my test results back and it looks like I have a fatty liver… but the doctor still wants to do some more testing. I’m going to have to have a liver biopsy. Fun stuff. It’s only minor surgery, not a biggy. From what I’ve read on it they do it one of two ways: they either make an incision, stick a needle in, and extract samples of the liver, or they just make you have a cat-scan and stick the needle in without making an incision. They dope you up on stuff first so you don’t feel anything and you aren’t allowed to drive or get out of bed for a day… but that’s about it.
I’m finally done with the semester. I ended up dropping my Creative Writing class because I didn’t have enough time to write all those short stories. Too bad, I liked the class. I think I ended up with an 89.4 for my Graphic Arts class because the teacher is a total bitch. I deserved an A. David helped me on most of my stuff and he was a Graphic Arts major at one time. Damn it all. I took my Psychology final last night and I’m pretty sure I’ll make a B or C on it so that means I’ll probably get a B in the class. Oh well. That teacher was psycho too. Over ½ the class ended up dropping and the class averages for all the tests were failing. She didn’t even give a curve. Bitch. Oh well, I did pretty good. : }~
Christmas is stressing me out. I’m working my ass of trying to get enough money to afford presents for everyone. I think I can do it, but I don’t know for sure. I’ll keep my fingers crossed. If I have to, I’ll take a loan from the bank of Mimi and repay her with the money I get for Christmas.
Meagan is supposed to be in Amarillo for a couple of days for work. She was supposed to get here yesterday and stay until Friday. I’ve tried calling her a couple of times and tried getting a hold of her on MySpace, but she just said that she’d call me yesterday. Still have no clue what’s going on. It would be nice if she’d let me know.
