I'm sorry I haven't written in you enough lately. Please accept this questionaire as a token of my apologies.

1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?
Saved a kitten and adopted her, quit a band, toured in a van, obsessed over interior decorating (sad, I know) and felt like I was making a difference in some small, significant way....

2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I didn't make any last year, but this year I'm resolving to read more and to try to travel some more if possible.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
My cousin gave birth, but we're not really close. So no.

4. Did anyone close to you die?
Yes

5. What countries/states did you visit?
Just California, several times

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?
A recording studio! Hell yeah.

7. What date from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
December 5th; that's when I found out about Roger

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Achieving a sense of recognition for being a producer; producing CDs for some of my favorite local bands

9. What was your biggest failure?
Not being able to make time for everything and everyone I want.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Yes and just a little

11. What was the best thing you bought?
A decent coffeemaker, a reading lamp, a ribbon microphone

12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Brian and Emily - ENGAGED, bitches

13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Brian and Emily - engaged. Sigh. Haha.

14. Where did most of your money go?
Music equipment.

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
Finally finding a studio space

16. What song will always remind you of 2004?
Pretty much any Jeff Buckley song, or "Hysteria" by Muse

17. Compared to this time last year, are you: happier or sadder?
Definitely happier.

18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Kissing and reading

19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Driving

22. Did you fall in love in 2004?
Not for real, but 'yes' if we're talking the stupid-guy sense of the word, like "oh man she likes Jeff Buckley? I think I love her."

23. How many one-night stands?
Muhaha

24. What was your favorite TV program?
Adult swim, American Chopper

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
Nah

26. What was the best book you read?
The Daily Adventures of Mixerman

27. What was your greatest musical discovery?
Don't even get me started.

28. What did you want and got?
A space for the recording studio.

30. What was your favorite film of this year?
Oh man that's tough; depends on my mood. The first that come to mind are Garden State, The Life Aquatic, Team America, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you?
I sang at my friend Adam's wedding / wedding rehearsal - 23

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Honestly, I can't think of anything.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2004?
WTF, am I in a hair salon reading a magazine right now?

34. What kept you sane?
Coffee.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most?
Jeff Buckley

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
The election (remember that?)

37. Who did you miss?
Most of my friends

38. Who was the best new person you met?
The Stiletto Formal, although I realize that's six people.

Do whatever it is you love to do.
