ENC Conference
I can honestly say that I found a good reason to wake up at 7am on a Saturday. And spend 12 1/2 hours out and about.
The Equality NC conference was AMAZING. I went with a friend from Spectrum and a staff member.
Words cannot describe. The people I met, the speeches I heard, the connections I made, it was really cool. Seriously, though, met some students from other schools that rocked my activisty world.
Plus, getting to hang out with two really great elon folks was also awesome. And getting to have one of the best dinners (on Spectrum! heck yea) I've had in a while was pretty sweet.
"Get rid of the alphabet [LGBTQQISSAA] and just be who you are."
Good day, tiring day, but alas, more coffee/power nap and it's off to hang out with folks ('cause let's face it, it's not even 9, no way can my Saturday end already, not when tomorrow is going to be so way boring).
EDIT: I totally just got back from building/playing in a fort with Ashley, Amelia and her roommate, Brian. That's pretty much all I need to say for you to realize how great that is.
Time for bed after 19 hours of alertness.
