In which smeyer continues to be a crazy bitch
yeah shes still as crazy as ever, her next book is about mermaids, but mermaids that aren't actually mermaids because shes not going to call them mermaids because their completely different from mermaids and in actual fact their sirens?
So first of all their mermaids.....but she's calling them sirens, and their completely different from mermaids? right.......
second of all, if shes going to do ANYTHING with Greek mythology she MUST research it (and have a substantial degree in in it), and I mean don't use the old, I don't want to pollute what I've done because its so off history like she did with vampires, Sirens are actually part of mythology, specifically homers odyssey. You should never mess around with published and widely studied mythology. Thirdly mermaids and sirens are two completely different things, Sirens were three bird like women in Greek mythology where as mermaids fish humans. However if referring to the Roman sirens (which due to her lack of historical or any real knowledge she won't know the difference bet ween Greek and roman mythology) they were related to water or sea.
Any way I don't know THAT much about sirens, but mate don't mess with the little mermaid and pollute it, I just know she'll come up with some nasty paedophile sex scene involving fishes, which is a worrying thought.
I half expect her doing the same thing as twilight but changing it to "girl falls in love with fish bird creature who is perfect in a fishy bird like way."
Damn I hope the film fails!
