so as you can tell by la bella lingua (the beautiful language (italian DUH)) i am thrilled by italys win. we took home the world cup after an excellent game! France started out the game scoring a goal in the seventh minute but a short 12 minutes later la bella squadra(the beautiful team) scored an ace goal.Marco Materazzi scores the goal, assisted by Andrea Pirlo making the score 1-1. the game goes on and half time is called. they come back for the second half and the game goes on 1-1. the game is called and they have to go into 30 mins overtime. no score. so then they take the penalty kicks. italy takes a good one(1-0), then france(1-1), then italy(2-1), then france has a no good goal(2-1), then italy takes a good one (3-1), then france(3-2), the italy(4-2), then france(4-3), then italy takes one (5-3) AND YES!!!!!!!!!!!! ITALY TAKES HOME THE WORLD CUP!!!!!!!!!!
unfortunately i was at the mall during the game (saw some of the game at the mall! FAB FAB FAB!) so i recorded it (thank god for DVR) but when i watched it i only recored it going 25 mins over the scheduled time so i only saw until the about 107th min. but thank god for the internet and repeats!
