(no subject)
stress level finally went down. got most of the work done and finished all the midterms i had. have an A in all my classes except for a B in music theory. i don't know how i'll bring that grade up... i do well on everything... except the sight singing. i'm just not a singer and those sight singing quizzes really bring my grade down. :/ oh well. for the sight singing part of the midterm, i got a 4 out of 6... not too bad for me.
my concert was thursday. jen and andrew went. family showed up, too. i'm was really greatful to have andrew and jen in the audience for me. i actually played some hard stuff and a lot of it was by myself. he had brought in a professional to play flute w/ us and she played 1st w/ me and was A-MA-ZING. like holy shit. i was mad at first when she came b/c she took all the parts that i'd been playing by myself... but having her there made me want to try harder. then she was sick for the concert so i had to do it myself. i did alright.
theater has been fun. we have been moving slowly for the people who have never been on stage before, but i really like the class and everyone in it. it's a small class so we get to be pretty close. everyone shows up early and just hangs out before class. it's nice.
we have fish now. 2 of them. dumb ones. cheap ones. but they's alive.
jen and i bought a kitten today. that was dumb. dumb dumb dumb. very dumb. it's not ours anymore... but we still have to pay 40 bucks a piece. dumb... dumb..... dumb.............
spent most of the afternoon w/ the hot guy. i hate boys... they're so confusing... and they always have to be so cute about shit and making me forget how mad i was. gr.
packing up and going home tonight for fall break. hanging out w/ brandon on tuesday and workin on sunday. looking for a new job since i put in my 2 weeks notice at FYE. *sigh* i'm poor. rest of break doesn't have anything set but i'm hoping to be at home as little as possible... i hate it there.
