(no subject)
woke up this morning w/ dinner theater on my mind. stressed myself out in the shower.
i never tried on my costume. i don't know what i'll do w/ my hair. i've never practiced w/ my props. we've never used any of the backdrops. i keep effing up my lines. we've never gone all the way through the play w/o stopping.
so went to school stressed, had some caffeine which made it worse, and spent all of 1st period w/ stressed given and stressed beth and trying to work out a few last minute things before our first performance. tried to get out of chem to help, but witt was a bitch and made us stay for a "very important lab" which didn't work anyway since witt doesn't know the differenc btwn a voltmeter and ampmeter... or w/e it was.
left my instruments at home on accident so helped given in third. hung out w/ ty, who "turned my imagination to go" as i explained it later. then paully came in so i hung out w/ the 2 of them. lunch outside. lunch is so much better now that it's me, hanny, shley, ty, dan, nathan, pod and today, sean too. we played all kinds of versions of the ricochet game. good times.
4th period performed their play. talked w/ jen and allen before hand and ran around letting some of my energy out. i really like working the lights. it's so much fun... and makes me feel important. i got to work the spot when mike was talking and then stage lights the entire time. wee. then spent the rest of the period prepping for dinner theater.
oh, and got some good news.
I'M NUMBER EIGHT IN OUR CLASS! WHOOP!
tied w/ beth. so we ran around all excited-like. then watched ruiz get pied in the face. and after that was tons of dinner theater stress. spent like 2 hours just covering the windows and didn't even get to finish. ran out of tape. but that was a pain in the ass since the cafeteria windos are so damn tall. after everything was set and in place, we went back to the auditorium to eat and get in costume.
found one pretty rose under my windshield wiper... who dropped their flower? i'd like to know so i can return it to it's rightful owner. actually, this totally made my day so thanks to whomever that was.
performance went well, expecially since we've had 6 fill ins... and one of them just larned she'd be filling in today in first period. everything looked nice and the lines went smoothly for the most part. i was nervous at first fter seeing sean, ty, ally, and kev sitting RIGHT FREAKING THERE, but really got into my part later and had tons of fun. hung out for a bit after and drug sean around. then went home and here i am.
