(no subject)
friday was supposed to be WV day, but it was called off. i was actually kinda looking forward to going. maybe one day i'll take my own trip up and see everyone. it'd be weird, but i think i'd enjoy it. so instead, i took mom n boo out. ate lunch at mcdonald's n then went to rugged wearhouse again so boo could get some shorts. then went to books-a-million. sat in the floor and read some books. learned how to play sudoku so mom bought me a book of sudoku puzzles. yay. tried to use my BAM discount card that allen gave me back when we were dating... but it expired a year ago and cost 8 bucks to renew. no thanks. then went to the mall and drug them in a few stores. tried AGAIN (third or fourth time) to find a necklace for prom in claires... w/ no luck. then went down to hibachi and ate some good japanese for dinner and headed home.
yesterday was the cast party so i woke up early to make mac n cheese. "party" was cool i guess. all we did was eat and watch the DVD of our performance. i did pretty well i think, w/ my tiny little part. better than i thought i did. mine n liz's fight looks AWESOME-er than i thought too. yesss. it was cool to see everyone again... and by everyone, i mean pod ty paul nath n dan. it had been WAY too long since i'd seen them. discussed prom hair w/ given again. i think shley and i will be getting give to do our hair. yay.
so after that, i came home and researched the a capella concert at RC that shley and i were gonna go to. printed out a map, then ate some ramen noodles and watched some comedy central before meeting shley at hop in at 5:45. made our way to RC and tried to use the map to park closer to the building we needed. wound up making a HUGE circle around campus. still had plenty of time so parked in my usual spot and walked. explored the gym and then i took her to the student center and we wandered around in there before getting our tickets. they only made us pay 5 bucks instead of 7. $5 was the price for the college students. haha, yay. the concert was AWESOME! it was nothing i'd expected. a capella groups from different colleges all performed. some of them, especially juxtaposition, were a lot of fun. the guy a capella group from JMU definitely sang a song w/ pieces of disney songs thrown together... from beauty and the beast, the little mermaid, the lion king, and aladdin. they fit all 3 of my faves in! so it was cool.
after the concert, we wandered back to the car discussing how i'm scared shitless of how this fall is going to be for me. i ran over 2 different curbs backing out, couldn't figure out whether we needed to go north or south on 81 so just took the first one, and then went to taco bell on hershberger to eat. creepy guys kept looking at me in the parking lot so i ran for the door and one of them followed us in. a scary guy in line turned around and said, "god damn, be nicer to each other" and the black guy who took my order, "big boy", was checking me out. ate, laughed, and left. went out the in and almost went the wrong way on a one way. some dominos pizza guy pulled over behind me, rolled down his window, stuck his head out, pointed at my car, and yelled something. well, he was scary looking so i tried to drive away but he pulled up beside us and did it again but ashley didn't know what he was saying either so i sped up and he left. stopped to get gas and check my car... everything looked fine so WTF? spent 35 freaking dollars on a tank of gas. guy in front of me bought condoms. it was funny. some other scary guy made eye contact w/ me so i ran to the car where shley was sitting w/ the doors locked and her seat belt on. ha. then went back to shley's car, sat n talked for 15-20 mins about... lotsa stuff. it was nice. then drove slowly home b/c of a crap load of fog. yay. did sudoku and went to bed.
woke up, did sudoku, got on here. last day of break. will be spending it doing laundry and hopefully cleaning on my room. SPRING TRIP END OF NEXT WEEK! NOW i'm getting excited. anyway, i'm done rambling. have a beautiful day. <3
