YAY for warm days!
friday was boring. pod ate lunch w/ us so me, ty, n pod discussed battlefront all of lunch. and isaac and i actually argued over what would happen if there wa s a fight btwn the star wars and star trek characters.
ty n is' got me out of precalc at 3 and we wandered around and then i drove us over to ty's house. avoided the grandparents and sat in the basement playing battlefront. well, they played and i thoroughly enjoyed watching and laughing. ate burgers, talked to al, and went back to school to get ready for OK!
opening night went pretty darn well. i was nervous before hand but it all went away on stage. i was surprised how comfortable i was in front of all those people. they loved farmer dance and clapped FOR-EV-ER while we held those poses. holy crap. adn, had a lovely standing ovation during the final okalahoma.
jen, andrew, wes, kelly, and joseph all came and hung out afterwards. sat and talked w/ everyone and then headed for the parking lot so i could show jen my prom dress. found julio and told him to meet me at amoco so i could talk to him after dropping joseph off in the middle parking lot. sent mr andrew to the gas station as well. so i took joseph to the middle parking lot and he talked forever... and a little bit more... and he was so annoying and i finally had to force him out of my car. holy crap. so i get to the gas stationg and bitch a lot and flip out and complain etc to julio and andrew and then finally chill out and just had some fun talking and listening to music... joseph showed up again after he'd driven down the road and came all the way back to ask me when i work. God he's annoying. and then close to midnight, i made plans for sat, and headed home.
saturday, i wake up early and get ready and wake up julio. went to DQ and got my check n ate breakfast. told brandi i'd take her home. called mr ortic like i was supposedf to... but things were delayed and he's like "i called andrew and told him you were going to go to his apartment. i'll call you there when i'm ready" and so w/e. i take brandi home, took the worst way EVER from burnt chimney to roanoke. i hate driving over the mountain... especially when i'm 100% lost... like i was that way.
get to andrew's, hang out doing nothing for a while, waited for JAO to call, watched and' play a mafia game, watched TV... and julio finally calls. eventually make it to the mall to find JAO in pacsun. helped andrew shop-- quick n easy. helped julio shop-- worse than a girl. made some more stops, listened to andrew whine, went to tell JAO we were leacing, andrew walks off on me, i make it obvious i'm impatient, julio finally leaves, we find andrew, i'm pissed, get in the car and get over my anger, n go to NY Pizza. they played w/ the little arcade games and the juke boc, ate some pizza, talked for a while, and then julio said he was done and was going to go see his brother. so andrew drives me back to his apartment where i lay around a while longer and then head for school.
second performance-- better audience, mediocre performance... i thought. everyone said it was awesome though. yay! head home at a decent time. wake up early and get out to school for matinee performance. tiny crowd and no enthusiasm from cast, but overall a decent performance.
had a lot of conversations in the band room during performances. getting closer to some people. it's awesome. 1 practice and 2 performances left. long week ahead. hopefully not as stressful.
