[Nami must like birds very much, because Grune is always seeing them around her. She should remember this for next Christmas!

[Biri, for his part, just pads upa nd down and flaps his wings and kaaas in the most friemdly fashion, attempting to buff his head under Grune's hand. Meanwhile, Nami looks like a five year old who's just been offered candy.]

A present? Really?

[Grune spends a little while petting the duck before she remembers her bag. She leaves off to search inside, then comes up with...a piece of paper.

It's a drawing, done in paint, pencil crayon, and crayon (Grune doesn't care about mixing media if she wants a particular colour), of Grune and Nami picking mikans in the orchard together. It's not exactly the most skilled thing Nami will ever see, but it's clear Grune took a lot of time over it.]

He just wants it because I have it and it's colourful. It's okay; he knows not to mess with my things. [Sure enough, Biri's just going to sort of hang his head and look sulky now.]
