[In the plaza, not far from the med clinic, is a table with a Grune behind it. Her cheerful red-and-white checked picnic blanket covers the table, and there's a pitcher of the first lilacs of the season in one corner. Grune has taken a page from Elicia's book and has baked a cake to be shared with everyone returning from the draft!
It's quite the cake. Though it's not obvious to look at, it's somewhat burned on the bottom, due Grune forgetting she was baking for a while. The icing on the cake is also a bit odd. "WELC" is written in tidy block letters in green icing. "OME BACK" is written in another, messier hand entirely, as though someone Fenimore came along later and finished the abandoned job for her.
The cake is intended for people returning from the draft, but since there are three-year-olds harder to con than Grune, if you really want cake and have no scruples, you should be able to get a piece no problem.
For those who don't like cake, Grune will also be giving away her lilacs, and...well, she's a beautiful woman who gives hugs to sad people. Or people who can do a half-assed impression of being sad. There's something for everyone here!]
