[Grune is out picking flowers. This isn't exactly an unusual pastime for her, but what is unusual are her slower movements and more frequent pauses. She seems almost…melancholy? Is this possible? Certainly, she doesn't quite seem to be her usual energetic self. It appears the aftermath of the latest event has taken its toll on even her

[Emil is still a little bit melancholy from the experiment himself, mostly because he had the chance to have what he always wanted - a family - only to have it taken away by the knowledge that it was just another experiment. He'll just be wandering around the edge of the lake looking distracted at the moment. Bother?]

[Bother! Grune wanders over from where she had been, ah, cooing over the lilies, then calls out:] Hello there!

[Emil hadn't even realized there was anyone else around, so that voice is enough to cause him to jump a bit and look around to see where it was coming from. But Grune looks harmless enough and he quickly relaxes.]

I'm sorry, I didn't know there was anyone else here.

Oh, that's all right. [She looks at him, trying to place him. Has she met him before, or is this a new friend?]

[She's not wearing a New Feather dress so she isn't new, but he doesn't recognize her either.]

What were you doing all the way out here?

Hmmm.... What was I doing? [She looks around for inspiration and her gaze lands on the baby water lilies.] I wonder if I was gardening.

Wait, you mean you don't remember why you came here?

Oh, I remember. [...Actually, no, she doesn't.] I must have come here to look after the lilies.

Did you plant them here?

[He cranes his head to get a better look at them... they do add a nice touch, that's for sure.]

They're really pretty. I wonder if they would be happy in the fountain if we brought a couple of them back to town... it would make it a little more cheerful.

[They're still fairly small; they were only planted in March. But they'll be growing soon!]

Oh, that sounds like it would be very pretty! [Provided no one minds getting dirt in the fountain, anyway!]
