A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices

i really got a glimpse of heaven tonight. singing "o holy night" and "silent night" and many others with my wesley family.

as i watched each candle in the room get lit and the light grow brighter and brighter, i was struck so hard with "THAT is EXACTLY what our lives are supposed to look like". just watching my friends in rows in front of me share their light and hold it up high. turning a dark room to a bright shining one. what an amazing thing to see.  the love in that room. the real love, unconditional, undying, unchanging love. God's love poured out on us. poured out on us. Jesus in us. shining through us. we are called to be the light, to shine Jesus and not ourselves. i'm not very good at that, but i'm definatly learning. just knowing all that God can do. the ways that hearts are on fire. the longing to be closer still. i am just excited. excited about what he's doing in me and in this place and in hearts all around. this love is moving. it's not just for that room just for tonight. this love is for all. and covers all -everyplace. no matter where i go. i just have to be willing to accept it.

In all our trials born to be our friends.
He knows our need, our weakness is no stranger.

it is unreal. i am so sleep deprived. more than ever i must believe. finals are almost done. my friends are the best.

repeat the sounding joy.
