i did have the most excellent weekend, indeed. started with a picnic with deb at this park with a waterfall. we sat on this dry slab rock and ate, talked about our most amazing God, the fact that she's getting married in a month, our life stories, and sang.  we rolled up our pants and waded into the water across all the flat rock, climbed and adventured. we somehow ended up in an area that was much deeper than we expected. with our jeans almost completely wet, we decided if we're wet, we might as well go down the water-made rock slide. it was wonderful. i laughed alot. after our adventure, we come to find out that there are little creatures that live in the water and planty stuff in the water that we slide in, and now some had found a home on our pants. completely grossed out on the ride home. oh, i LOVE adventures! i decided to head to work with deb, after changing into dry clothes, at cups. sat and watched and read. katie came and her, deb, and me ventured to deb's for much needed chatting, praying, and d a n c i n g for the Lord!!! friday afternoons rock! then....drum roll...KEITH CAME!!! which really increase the friday rock-age by alot. and i saw him and gave him a hug for the first time in FIVE WHOLE WEEKS. i really just can't explain.  me and deb met him at my apartment, soon to be joined by lovely roomie and many more at dinner, including julie, hace, evan, and evie. good times. for real. soon to return, for party and good convos and playing music and laughing. it really was the best ever. stayed up til we were too tired to stay up any later.

after breakfast at the grit, i headed to the ol' alpharetta to see my sister, brother in law and niece.  i was greeted first thing with my year old niece's huge smile and arms reaching for me. that was the best "welcome home" i've gotten in a while.  it's so good to be home.  i hadn't been home since school started. i didn't realize how much i missed those people. went to dinner with grandma, my uncle and aunt. always fun. keith and i went to higher grounds to study. well i studied for that silly midterm i had today.  my parents came home from orlando around 11ish. everybody stayed up, hung out and watched the waterboy on tv. i love my family!!!

sunday included alot of eating and hanging out. i always enjoy that. i got to see my brother too. this weekend was full of family fun. church was so good. lunch with keiths' mom was so good. seeing everyone was so good. saying goodbye to keith wasn't so good-it's never easy, but there is a peace and a joy that's indescribable. i know this is right. i'm going to make the best of each day. using it to live the life i've been called to.  dinner with the fam, before i left, is always entertaining. sunday ended with ice cream with erin before i headed back to athens. its so fun seeing her and just talking about nothing and everything like we always do.

now back to the real world, full of tests and reading and sillyness. here we go again. monday down, tuesday's coming again. i guess...
highlight of my day: getting called honey child by a 5 year old girl. or maybe getting asked if i am mixed by an 8 year old. man, i love kids.
