spring fever
so freshman year is over. i've only got 4 more days left in athens. this year has been full. i really can't believe that it's over. the past 9 months have flown by. i can't believe that i only have 3 years of college left. i will never again live in a dorm room, probably won't ever live with kathryn again, won't eat in a dinning hall again. next year is going to be so different from this year and hopefully even better. i feel like i wasjust getting used to this life and now it s changing again. no more will i live on lumpkin with cop cars and fire engines driving past at all hours of the night, no more scanning my hand multiple times a day just to get into this building, no more one room acting as EVERY room.
i'm excited about summer. so excited, but a little sad about this school year being over. new friends and new experiences. the summer is holding so much fun. camp all american and kanakuk. it twill be amazing.
it's been crazy living here this year. i've learned that everyone's a little odd. living with people, seeing them on their good days, their bad days, in the stress, on the lazy days, under the influence, loud, quite, whatever.
last august i was sad to leave home to come here, now i'm sad to leave college and go home.
i've learned, i've changed, i'm made new friends and kept the old ones, i've grown. it;s been a whirlwind.
i guess phretta wil be good. seeing everyone again, hanging out and catching up with everybody again!!
