It has recently fallen upon me thoughts that our world is a very wonderful but extremly damaged place. I mean, how many of us take for granted the fact that we can go to school without worrying about rebels running in with machetes and hand grenades? How many of us go a day without thinking about the "war" in Iraq. I mean, there's still things going on over there.

There have been 1,943 coalition troop deaths, 1,755 Americans, 90 Britons, 13 Bulgarians, one Dane, two Dutch, two Estonians, one Hungarian, 25 Italians, one Kazakh, one Latvian, 17 Poles, one Salvadoran, three Slovaks, 11 Spaniards, two Thai and 18 Ukrainians in the war in Iraq as of July 12, 2005. ( Graphical breakdown of casualties). The list below is the names of the soldiers, Marines, airmen, sailors and Coast Guardsmen whose families have been notified of their deaths by each country's government. At least 13,336 U.S. troops have been wounded in action, according to the Pentagon.

Please take the time to look at this. Look at the faces of the young men and women who have died for something other than "our freedom"

Sorry I'm just frustrated guys. I just don't understand any of this. If anyone wants to talk to me about it send me an i-m or something. I want to start getting active. Join a cause you know? It's about time I did something.
