HELP! ~Need design advice~
I need two slipcovers for my furniture: for a sofa and a loveseat. I also have two armchairs, but I won't spend over $50 to cover a chair! I'll just have to sit on them as they are.
My question is: which colors would you pick, given a medium blue carpet, beige walls, dark brown tables, one mustard armchair and one wine-red armchair? I think I like the linen and the camel, but maybe with slipcovers a dark color would be better, since the parts that don't fit so well would be less visible? If so, maybe the green or the burgundy would work? I generally like light-colored upholstery, but I don;t really like seeing slipcovers that don't fit well.
Please let me know what you think, I have no talent for room design. I want to get this ASAP, since I'll be "entertaining" in my room (we'll be having some meetings with hall council, etc.)
