Last night at work turned into a mjor health hazord....I swear we should be getting paid more....
I stuck one guy and the safety casing on the end of the needle spilled blood all over the place including on me. Had to call infection control for coming in contact with bodily fluids and I get all the great testing done to me now. Although everything should be just fine.
Then we had a trauma come in on a guy whos body temp dropped to 80. Had to get blood cultures on him between his bouts of throwing up in any given direction...
I need a different job.
