Merino Wool Jerseys. That is all. Look them up. Smartwool and other brands. I can't believe how damn comfy they are. I can sweat all the way to work on my bike, and not worry about having to change clothes, as it dries fast enough with no residual stink/discomfort. Also, I can bike all the way to work, and not worry about my body getting chilled up either. It keeps me reasonably warm without overheating. Best of all, I can throw them in the washer and drier without worrying. You just can't beat that. That's the selling point right there for my extremely lazy self.
I know that the winter here doesn't even remotely compare to what a lot of my f-listers are going through right now, but I'm pretty damned pleased with myself for not slacking off on my bike commuting yet. Neither the rain, nor my annual lung hacking bout has put a damper on it. It's all a matter of having the right equipment, and persistence. Yay me!
