The frogs here are huge!! Last night was the most fun i've had since i've been here. It was dumping rain, so we watched animal house (the shout scene) and danced around like mad women. Then Carlyn, Diana and I decided that, since it was so rainy and no one wanted to go play mud football, we would make a slip n' slide out of trash bags and duck tape. We got our friend the RA to get us lots of trash bags (he was much more willing to give us them when we simply told him they were for a slip slidin' adventure) and ran around all the floors to get duct tape.
Once our creation was finished we ran outside to test it out on the hill above the courtyard. Carlyn got two slides in before, as usual, a helpful security guard came up and informed us that we could break our necks and, because of all the RAW SEWAGE (uh, theres raw sweage on camous?...Sketch)on campus if our feet got cut and sewage got in the cut we could catch RAT SHIT FEVER. Ew. So needless to say, we went back inside to get slippers, and ran into some cats we knew from our building and they said they were going to play mud football, would we want to go? Of course! So we did that, well, it was more like mucky water football due to the inch plus of water on the field, but that almost made it more fun. The frogs here are real frogs too, they're HUGE, like something Tom Sawyer would catch. I caught one and put it on my friend. Didn't name it though...don't know why not. I caught the football too, and tackled some girl. It was awesome. Then on the way back we mooned our friends and climbed a fence over rushing water. All we needed was someone shooting at us and the Beast of Exmoore causing terror in our villages, and it would have been the perfect adventure.
What sucked the most though, was that after we rinsed off outside in the hose, which was quite warm, I went to take a shower and found that there was no hot water. No luke warm water either, just freezing water. Brrr. And it was like 65 degrees last night, way cold. We went to a rockstar party, but by the time we got there it was broken up. Just like High school. Security needs to realize that we are in college, many of us are over 21, and its ok if we party. It just sucks that you can't have any crazy huge parties, ahhhh!! ok, well its shower time, so this is Amanda the Panda signing off...
