Name: Taylor Takahashi
Age: 17
Zodiac: Scorpio (November 12th)
Grade Average: A+
Appearance: Taylor stands at 5’5” and weighs at 122 lbs, a very healthy weight for someone of her height. Her original hair colour was blonde, but she died it in her early teen years to a jet black colour, which she later changed to a mahogany brown colour. Her hair is naturally straight and fairly long, reaching beneath her shoulders. Dark, glittering eyes along with soft, thick lips which give her an angelic if slightly mischievous look about her (eyes in particular). She comes from a fairly wealthy family so she always has good clothes, but she isn’t bothered about designer labels unless something catches her eye. Have great posture, terrific bone structure and a rare elegance about her that few other girl’s posses. A pretty girl by most standards, she’s been offered several modelling offers but has turned them down - after all, they’ll only make her more of a misfit in this new town if she starts attracting jealousy.
Personality: The girl that everyone talks about, Taylor finds it amusing and at the same time uncomfortable that she always seems to be the subject of talk from her fellow classmates. Because of her great intelligence, immaculate looks and somewhat ruthless behaviour, Taylor is seen as ’that American whore’ and was shunned for the good half of her first year at the Boarding School in the Fukushima prefecture. The girls were intrigued and the boys were infatuated, yet the students never seemed to warmly welcome her into their class and school until the day she stood up to Mr. Akai, a spiteful, cruel teacher who treated the children like filth. Basically, her courage is as strong as her heart (I know it’s corny - more on this in History). Anyway, most students finally began to welcome her and she made some good friend thanks to her friendly nature. A sporty tomboy from her Karate skills, Taylor has a funny, wacky side as well as a serious and mature one. She aint no kid, but she knows how to have fun and always makes sure that people know that at parties and what not. She looooves her boys, and has had a few boyfriends but currently is just having. 'Relations‘. Although she respects herself, she still likes to have fun! She’s a determined, thoughtful girl but has a very short temper and is often seen having screaming matches with her parents whenever they’re at the school on frequent occasions. Although the relationship is strained for several reasons, Taylor still loves them dearly. When she is provoked in a fight, if it cannot be solved through a coherent and civil conversation, she gets aggressive and lets her fists do the talking, something which a girl in the year above her learnt severely. She also has a knack for being obsessive about things - for example, if the favourite drawing pencil for art class goes missing, she freaks out and panics until she finds it. Everything needs to be how she keeps it, otherwise things get ugly.
Overall, she’s a freak. XD A friendly girl, someone who gives everyone a chance. Loves partying on the weekends, and usually has people in her Dormitory as long as they don't lay a finger of her schoolbooks. Can be stroppy and volatile one minute then back to normal the next. Very smart, a great sense of humour, but a dark, nasty side that is very, very rarely seen unless it’s unleashed by force. Oh. Wait, force? Battle Royale? ^^
History: Born 29th November in the Upper East side of Manhattan, New York, Taylor grew up in a top floor apartment overlooking grand views of Central Park and of course, of the city that never sleeps. Her mother, Michelle, the editor of Fashion Magazine Glaceria (which is also sold in Japan) and father, Yoshio, the owner of some expensive supermarkets across Manhattan, are very much in love but are so consumed in their work that sometimes, they barely notice their daughter Taylor. Which is why, at the age of seven, they decided to leave the states and fly to Tokyo where the parents could continue their work and Taylor would be sent off the Boarding School for her elementary years where she began to learn Japanese fluently. Now speaking two languages as well as a little Spanish, Taylor was hailed in her schools as a gifted child, always friendly if a little cold and hot tempered sometimes. She had, in short, a crap relationship with her parents, who, at several times, didn’t speak to Taylor let alone even see her properly for up to weeks on end. It could now explain her sometimes harsh, ruthless view on the world.
She enrolled in Karate classes at he Boarding Schools she studied at, excelling almost straight away - she is a quick thinker and a perfectionist with nearly everything.
At the age of sixteen, they moved from Tokyo when her father began to become ill from overworking and moved to the Fukushima prefecture, where they now reside.
*Both parents discussed in History.
Overnight Bag: Text books, romance novel she is reading, mp3 player, some basic makeup, cell phone, pencil case full of stationery, condoms, toiletries, stuffed animal, camera, energy drinks. Also two changes of clothes and a photo of herself and her parents skiing in France one Christmas. It was the only holiday they have ever taken together and was one of the happiest times of her life.Strengths:
Determination:Weaknesses:
Phobia of Water:Classroom Behaviour:Extra Curricular Activities:
Hirosige Ando: He’s the cousin of Taichi and that’s really all she knows. Good looking, smart but not really her type. They’re polite to each other and he’s been known to make her laugh on a few occasions, but that’s about it.
Ryo Ikeuchi: In most people’s eyes, Ryo is filth to them. Not only does he bully and intimidate others, but he actually resorts to physical violence quite often, especially with the girls. He shoves, kicks and punches them when they even slightly aggravate him. He also came close to punching Taylor once but she also held up her fists making it clear she wasn’t easy to bully around. Over time Taylor began to experience some feelings towards him, even though he is a total bastard. She began to lose the plot a little bit until realising she did indeed have a crush on him. Although Ryo made it clear to Taylor he wanted nothing to do with girls he did back down a lot more after discovering someone had a crush on him.
Satoru Ishigaki: He has always seemed slightly intimidated by her, which she could never understand why. They spoke and everything but he always became awkward and flustered around her. She was informed that Satoru had a strict Government upbringing, so put his awkwardness down to just being a little weary around foreigners. Which although she doesn’t understand she can still just about tolerate.
Seikou Ishida: (Twin of Miyuki) Taylor met Seikou after meeting Miyuki so she already had a pre-meditated idea of what he would be like and she was exactly right. Like his sister he shared the same views on westerners because of his upbringing. Not understanding that the twins were probably brain washed into thinking like this, Taylor gave up with being friendly to him like his sister and is now very hostile towards him.
Yukio Ikonuma: To be developed.
Riicho Endo: Riicho and Taylor get along typically well for students, even though she disapproves of his weed smoking. He asked her to come up to his room after classes and stay over for the night and smoke, but she declined. Since then nothings changed but he knows not to ask her.
Aito Oshiro: To be developed.
Sosuke Kanasawa: Sosuke is a pretty boy who thinks he can fuck any girl he wants. Unfortunately for him he wasn’t even going to know the make of Taylor’s underwear, let alone get in to them. Arrogant, cocky and hangs around with all the jocks, *sigh*. A waste of space.
Goro Kitakawa: Not much to say on Goro. He supports the Government, is a little snobby and really has never paid an awful lot to Taylor.
Ichi Kiyoshi: To be developed.
Yoshiko Satoshi: Who? Oh yeah, him. Taylor can’t stand him, seriously. All he ever does is preen himself in a mirror like a girl. He’s not even that good looking. Another thing that bothers her is the way he speaks down to you like he’s so superior. Vain, nasty and just plain annoying - they don’t see eye to eye.
Raiden Shindou: After a particularly nasty brawl between Taylor and Kaoru, Raiden had to jump into the swimming pool (he’s a life guard) and save Taylor from drowning as she was pushed in. Her intense phobia of water sent her into an extreme panic attack but he stayed with her till a nurse arrived. Since then she has been extremely thankful to him and always makes the effort to talk. She even bought him a card for his birthday to show some gratitude!
Itsuo Tateno: They have a good friendship; Taylor was extremely happy to see Itsuo turn up for study parties (bearing sandwiches of course). He’s a friendly guy so they naturally hit it off. The only flaw in the friendship is Itsuo’s connections to the Ishida twins which don’t exactly like Taylor that much, mostly because of her nationality. So even though they don’t hang around together as much as they’d like to, they still get along and make the effort to talk to the other.
Ryuichi Nakano: To be developed.
Taichi Nawabe: Before the teacher ‘incident’, Taylor was always interested in Taichi. He had a mysterious, dream like quality to him that she was enamoured by. Taylor wanted to get to know him but was a little intimidated by his personality. However, one day a teacher went too far in his vicious yet very regular outbursts against the class which finally ended up his immediate departure from the school when Taylor stood up for herself, the rest of the class, and Taichi who recieved a lot of mental abuse from him. From then on, you could say a small friendship blossomed if anything. He respected her and thanked the girl a year later by doing some manual work on her car. The friendship between the two has also made it possible for Rei Matsumo and Hideaki
Kenta Hasuwara: Aww, he’s such a big geek! Too bad he has a crush on Hisa (it’s so obvious) cause Taylor thinks he can do so much better.. like go for a girl who actually likes him in return. Kenta’s a great mathematician as well and because they sit directly next to each other in Algebra and Geometry they always compare homework and stuff. Ya, it’s cool. XD
Kimasu Harunashi: To be developed.
Iori Hida: Taylor just finds him adorable. Tiny, innocent and just cute! From his sports jerseys that are way too big to his cute little smile. She actually treats him like a little brother and is always ruffling his hair and patting him on the head even though it annoys the hell outta him.
Kentaro Fukushima: To be developed.
Kazuki Hoshikawa: God, where would Taylor be without him? He makes her laugh to no end and although he can be a little loud in class at times she forgives him instantly. Without a doubt he’s her closest boy friend and loves shopping, partying and hanging out with him. He has tried to set her up with various boyfriends, all of which she has refused! Has been caught in the middle of a few disputes between Taylor and Kaoru which he always feels torn in. Taylor values his friendship though and besides Lily and Mami he is probably the closest one to her in the class.
Matsuo Minami: She first learnt of his thievery past in her first week at School, but didn’t instantly judge him like everyone else. As far as Taylor is concerned, what’s in the past should stay in the past. Therefore she treats him like she would treat anyone else. On a number of occasions they sat together at lunch and made friends in a short while. He was one of the first people at school to make friends with her; he overlooked her western background while she overlooked his past.
Ryuji Miyosaka: In short, they play off one another. Ryuji conforms to flirting innocently with her just to wind up Kaoru who they’re both not particularly fond of (Taylor more so than Ryuji, obviously) while Taylor gives him private Algebra lessons once a week in an attempt to get him up to a better grade. She knows that if grades slip now days it could mean getting Ryuji kicked off the team which she doesn’t want. It would be losing the key to winding Kaoru up, and the team would suffer itself from losing such an enthusiastic and clever member of their teams. They get along well, there’s never been animosity there.
Raul Montoya: Raul is a dirty pervert, nuff said. A big sleaze ball who always pests her for her cell phone number. She was always polite in refusing this to him, but one day he overstepped the mark and grabbed her arm, trying to pull her into an empty class room. Outraged, Taylor snapped and punched him very hard in the nose, breaking it instantly. From then on he has avoided her like the plague, but she has noticed him give her some filthy looks out of the corner of her eye.
Hidekai Yuasa: Funnily enough, Hideaki has never really bothered Taylor at school. Sure, he made a few comments about her being half American, but once she stood up for his best friend Tai against a repulsive teacher he seemed to stop altogether. When he realised that Taylor and Taichi were friends he never bothered her again and even spoke to her politely.
Hisa Aimono: They never really talked that much until Hisa spotted Taylor during Karate and was all “OMG LIKE YOU LOOKED SO COOL HAHAHA, I’M CRAZY” After that, Taylor just dubbed her as socially retarded but was surprised when the source of a very hurtful rumour that had been spread around the school about her actually ended up being Hisa. In a confrontation, Hisa just made up some crap and starting laughing wildly. It later came obvious that Hisa was desperate for Kaoru Ishibashi’s attention, a.k.a. Taylor’s mortal enemy.
Wakana Asakura: Despite her some what eccentric and strange personality, Taylor thinks Wakana is great! Once you get past the dreamy like face there is a girl full of warm personality. Being a people person, Taylor always sits with Wakana at lunch and enjoys her company. Wakana even introduced Taylor to a range of romance novels!
Kinuka Asano: Similar to that of Kaoru and Mai, but some how much more sluttier and cheap. Promiscuous, beautiful and charming yes, but friendly? No. Trustworthy? No. Compassionate? HELL no. Kinuka Asano is just nasty and that’s all she can be described as. Some how she found out about Mami’s deceased siblings and used it to her advantage to spread callous and hurtful rumours around the school. This had a big effect on Mami; Taylor, seeing how hurt she was, confronted Kinuka and all she recieved were laughs and more taunts from Kaoru, Mai etc.
Terue Anami: One of the strangest people that Taylor has ever met. Just, mad! But very sweet. She always seems to be lost in a fantasy world, which Taylor has no objection to but it’s made it hard for them to get to know one another. Terue is a target for some of the bullies in the class though, so Taylor always stands up for her along with Lily and a few other friends.
Miyuki Ishida: (Twin of Seikou) They sit relatively close together in class, so one day Taylor tried making conversation. Unfortunately for her, Miyuki was very standoffish and made little eye contact while mumbling quietly. This went on for a while until Taylor asked her if there was a problem which Miyuki replied with something along the lines of, “I don’t support westerners moving into this Country”. From then on Taylor has avoided her like the plague, as well as her brother.
Kaoru Ishibashi: Long story short, they hate one another. In fact, from the very first moment they met it was like volcanoes erupted around the world. The hatred has developed so much that now it’s actually impossible for them to be in the same room as one another and not end up in a shouting match. There has also been a fair few physical fights, the most vicious being their first on a Debate Team trip to nationals.
Hanako Iso: To be developed.
Terada Ito: To be developed.
Lily Ogawa: I’m really not going to go in-depth about this one, because there isn’t much else to say besides the fact they’re best friends. Lily is Taylor’s only real confident and has been a fantastic friend over the years. Lily was the first to speak to Taylor in school and immediately made her join her dormitory room. Taylor/Lily love! Taylor is also the only one that knows of Lily’s home life and has sworn to take the secret with her to her grave. She’d rather kill someone than betray Lily’s trust. Her friendship means so much to her; she was the first to look past Taylor just being ‘some stuck-up foreigner’ which seriously meant more to Taylor than she could ever explain.
Suzuka Otomo: A pretentious, cold and stuck up girl who really doesn’t have a lot in common with Taylor at all. In addition to this she is best friends with Kaoru, Taylor’s mortal enemy and her minions Kinuka Asano and Mai Suzuki. You’d expect all of this to stand in the way of them being friends, but it hasn’t really. Sure, they rarely speak to one another in class and make little communication outside of the classroom even then.. but Suzuka isn’t like the other three. She shows compassion, but just barely. Has been known to assist Taylor in classes where she just falls short of like History. They contact each other a lot via emails. When the other three are talking about Taylor, Suzuka remains quiet in the background so Taylor likes to think that underneath the cold, icy demeanour their is just a warm, loving girl. Maybe?
Sayuri Ono: Taylor likes Sayuri, even if she is a little mysterious and apprehensive about social functions and the like. Quiet, a little mousey, but always friendly and kind. Like many of the other students, Taylor has ended up between Sayuri and a bully fighting the girl’s case. Because of this they have a friendship but not an especially close one.
Emi Kuribayashi: All Taylor really knows of her is that she is dating Ryuichi Nakano. Sharing a few classes together they ended up getting into a discussion and Taylor saw a happy, talkative side to Emi who used to just blend into the background. Will always stick up for her when someone picks on Emi, ususally telling them to back the hell off and pick on someone with a much lower IQ. ^^
Tomoyo Gentoku: Tomoyo is on a similar wave length with Taylor, actually. They get along really well and have been known to hang around together on the weekends.
Yoko Shimzuki: They have little in common; Yoko is rarely in class and when she is there she never really pays attention to the work that is needed to be done. From what Taylor knows, Yoko doesn’t have many friends, choosing to keep her friends outside of the school. They properly met one another at a house party a couple of months ago and actually enjoyed each others company. However, when they got back to school Yoko wasn’t as friendly as she had been and didn’t really pay any attention to Taylor. So, in the end, Taylor gave up but always says hello just to be polite.
Mai Suzuki: Like the other three girls in the ‘Bitch Clique’, Mai is an arrogant, snobbish and bitchy member of the class; one that Taylor doesn’t like at all. Normally found with a cell phone in one hand and a handbag in the other, strutting down the corridors with the other three girls like they were on the catwalk or something. Basically, they dislike each other a lot. This is influenced mostly by the Kaoru / Taylor rivalry. Like Kaoru, she takes pleasure in belittling her fellow students.
Sakura Tsumatsu: Both are very motivated to succeed in school, which is evident through their drive in class. They have a close friendship which is infused by their playful competitiveness. Taylor is the fiery one of the relationship, while Sakura is more reserved and icy. They also make a great pair in Debate!
Reila Hashimoto: To be developed.
Mami Hanasaki: Taylor loves Mami! She’s a very good friend and someone that everyone should have in their cliche. There really is nothing to fault about her, a very sweet girl with a good head on her shoulders. Their bond over school work developed into a friendship and they always hold study parties every month leading up to exams and what not. <3
Ayame Hikaru: Surprisingly, Ayame is a target for many of the more vicious members of the class. She’s a bit of wallflower and doesn’t have many friends but there’s no reason to pick on her, right? Exactly. Disgusted by some of her classmates Taylor took action and stood up for Ayame against anyone when she was within the vicinity.
Rei Matsumo: Rei has always seemed to distance herself from people and when they try to make the effort with her she comes across as pretty rude and cold. A sullen looking, almost depressed face isn’t something Taylor enjoys seeing so she always smiles at Rei who scowls back apathetically XD. However, once Taichi and Taylor became friends they actually talked now and again.. nothing else came of it though. If Taichi can be friends with, then Rei thinks Taylor must be a pretty decent person...
Hayami Matsuyama: They’re relatively close, Hayami has a great spirit and has been nothing but nice to Taylor since her arrival at the school. So, with this and the fact that Hayami is a very gifted student as well, the two get on like a house on fire and she can normally be found up in Taylor and Lily’s room after classes.
Raina Yoshizawa: To be developed.
Taki Yoshomoto: To be developed
