For a few weeks now I've been throwing around the idea of asking if anyone among my group of LJ friends (or even friends of friends, I guess) would be interested in a group BSG rewatch and discussion. It'd be pretty casual, maybe a one-episode-a-week format, seriousness and cheap laughs equally welcome. First-time viewers would also be welcome;

I would totally be up for that. I may not be able to watch every episode, but I would try. Coincidently, I re-watched the miniseries yesterday. There might be a few people on my flist would would also be interested.

I just read that you did, actually! It was another little coincidence that finally spurred me to put feelers out. I'd love to have you around for discussion.

I don't think strict weekly participation is an issue; not being able to watch every episode wouldn't be a problem at all. I'm just curious to see if there's enough interest in making it a more organized let's-watch-and-gab-about-it thing than I usually have in my quiet little journal. Anybody on your own list who'd be interested would be more than welcome!

Hmm. Well, I think for the moment I'm learning toward my journal just because I assume there'll be a small turnout. I notoriously lock entries to my friends list, but I'd keep the rewatch entries public.

I'd certainly be open to starting a community for it, though, especially if there was more interest from friends of friends than from my own circle.
