Light
My light was shining
I met you, and for so many years, it shone through you.
What I failed to realize, though, was that the only light within you...was me.
Oh, how I feel abhorrent for the man who chooses to wander through life with his left shoe off.
All while cursing the world for putting him here.
Conveniently unheeding that he left it at the front door this morning.
