Wow, I'm so neglectful of my online things, and that needs to be fixed as soon as I can get something more than this craptastic internet connection.
A-kon was this past weekend, and I had more fun at that one than I have at the past few conventions that I have been to.
Friday was awfully tiring packing into an un-airconditioned van full of nine people and their baggage. Getting there and finding parking was an adventure on its own! I spent most of that day getting settled into the room and resting in general.
Saturday was the most fun day for me (it usually is for everyone, but eh...). The day began with me waking up and retardedly realizing that I had brought all of my costume up to the con except for the bow. There was no way for me to get back home, grab it, and come back if I had to pay massive amounts of money to take the car out since we had already agreed that the car would be in the garage for the entire weekend. So screw it. I suited up into costume sans the bow, and it was just fine. I still got pictures taken, still got wonderful compliments from people and asked for a hug by a sweet white mage. I walked around with Chris's girlfriend (who makes a lovely Tifa I might add), and we ended up being some of the starters of a massive Final Fantasy shoot. We met this gorgeous Asian Cloud (I mean looks and costume ^^) there, and I'm sad that I didn't get his name or any contact info. Fortunately, we ended up getting him in our little walk-on group though, which made me happy.
Sunday was just the rush of packing stuff, rounding everyone up, and leaving. Good times, good times.
