Update: Power, Projects, and Presence
Well, we have power again (yay!!!) but my laptop refuses to turn on (boo!!!). I’m borrowing time on my mother’s and will be for a bit, possibly a whole two weeks (argh!!!). Additionally, I am up to my eyebrows in things that needed to be done last week (*groan*). What this all amounts to is that, while I have power again and am no longer slowly roasting, you probably shouldn’t expect to see me for a couple of weeks while I get past-due projects up to date and either get my laptop fixed or get a new one. Joy of joys. But? It’s still better than roasting and dying of boredom, let me tell you!
Also, the heat and storm and the getting things back in order and everything means that I’m in more pain than I was before Isaac (bastard!) but it’s still relatively low compared to when all of that started, so I don’t know how that’s going to shake out either. I still need to see a neurologist (why is that so difficult?) and figure out what the hell is wrong with me. Complicated by the fact that I refuse to go back to the doctor who told me that I shouldn’t worry about taking the pain meds he prescribed, despite the fact that I told him that I’m allergic to at least 2 different NSAIDs, and whose meds caused another allergic reaction. (Not emergency room serious, slow building and still bothering me despite the fact that I’ve not taken them in almost two weeks, but it’s getting better and at least I didn’t have to go to the ER, again, no thanks to doctor asshole.)
To make several long stories short (too late!) one by one you all arrived… Er, no, wait, that’s Clue. Um, oh, right! Life is complicated, I’m not roasting, and I’m going to be really busy this September.
Lastly, *big, huge hugs to you all for being so awesome* Definitely can’t forget that bit. :-D
