Well, I'm in the hospital. It started with facial pain that kept getting worse and this morning, I finally couldn't take it anymore. Of course, when I got to the ER, they discovered my blood pressure was ludicrously high. Seriously, ludicrously high. I've been admitted, and it sucks. They think the pain is caused by the blood pressure (did I mention it was *really* high?) but even though the blood pressure has come down, the pain gets worse, gets better, gets worse again, etc. I haven't been able to sleep for more than a couple hours at a time, and trying to sleep with the pain is the worst because then I've got nothing to distract me. And, despite the fact that I came in for the pain, they keep focusing on the blood pressure. I get it, it's serious. Maybe it would go down more if I *WASN'T IN CONSTANT PAIN*. Ahem....

So, yeah. I hate hospitals....

Oh, dear. Umm. Apparently I'm getting morphine. *blinks* I am deeply conflicted about this. On the one hand, that should help with the pain, no? On the other? It's fucking morphine.
