it's so erie to be writing in my livejournal again. I had almost completely forgot about it until today. so much of this year is going to be different. I try to make at least one big adjustment each year, freshman year u move away from home, sophomore year i gave the RA thing a shot, and this year it's living off campus for me. I feel like my interactions with people are totally different, in good and bad ways.
So, my parents came up this weekend. interacting with them is different too. it's weird... these people who raised my most of my life, and love me unconditonally come up for one day. we talk, we feel, we tell stories, and then they're gone. You don't fight, you're polite, and there is a certain point of formality in your interactions. it's a formality that isn't uncomfortable, unnatural, or insincere, it's just there in between the layers of inflections and tones. it's different...
After they left, Ryan and I went over to Kristin and Kelly's. Those are some cool cats. cassey, frankhouse, aundee, and josh ended up stoping by too. good times good times. there was much puppy pileing and enjoyment of alcoholic beverages. yay!
well, i must go & study for a test tomorrow, although I am so not inspired!
