You try to do someone a favor and get him a job, then he turns around and leads on the employer and ultimately ends up not taking the job, pissing them off, and making you look like an ass for recommending them in the first place.

I need to start making Laws of Reality or something..... The first one will probably be something along the lines of Friends are ungrateful for anything you ever do for them.
