I started this post with way too much information. It would have boggled your minds and possibly most of you would not have read it anyways after seeing the length of the post ( Read more... )

I watched a Texas primary with Bill Clinton speaking - he got right to it - he said 'raise your hand if you know someone without health insurance'. Of course almost everyone there raised their hand, and I know people myself who don't have health insurance. Then he pointed out that we are the only wealthy contry in the world in which you would see that. It's shocking and inexcusable.

Now I have seen some of MM's documentaries, and he does manipulate some of the facts. But if you think for yourself you can pretty much separate the hard facts from the spin, and the fact that he has so much data to work with is unsettling. If there were not any truth to his views, he would be treated like any other crackpot. But he's not crazy. Liberal yes (as am I) but not at all crazy.

If someone made a documentary that said that our healthcare system was the best in the world, I would be willing to watch that as well. Again, using the little gray cells to decide for myself.

I will definitely watch it. With a mother on dialysis, and myself with high blood pressure, I'll take all the information I can get.

Besides, wouldn't it be worth pushing for national healthcare if it meant The Partyman would then consider moving here!?!?!
