First tattoo
I got my first tattoo yesterday morning.
It feels like it isn't even there now. The pain was similar to the pain I've had from immunisations, except it didn't linger or make my muscles tender because the needle didn't go past the first layer of skin, of course. After I left the studio it felt as if I had grazed my arm and had an injection in the same spot. It was all over in 45 minutes and honestly, I think half my piercings were worse in terms of pain/tolerability - not that my piercings were that bad anyway!
The symbol is the atheism atom. Note how the bottom of the middle ring is cut off so it forms an 'A' for atheism.
