She laughs, a charming and bubbly hostess - greeting her guests and making small talk.
She smiles at you, and her smile has all the warmth and heat your body should never feel when she stands next to you, when she conspires against the already tipsy Parkman to sing drunkenly.
When you leave that night, your hug lingers three seconds too long and the affectionate kiss on the forehead is just a little too wet. It's all so wrong that you welcome the cold sting of the night air when you leave.
