"Cursed foot?"

I'm not that serious, but I think my foot might be under a curse. It has to be because it has been completely an unlucky summer for my right foot.

While Matt was away in the middle of July I tripped on a crack in the middle of a hill and righted myself right on the side of my right foot by the little toe. The whole weight of my body hit it and it's been sore ever since. I am paranoid but I think my toe looks strangely mashed. I wrote it off to my clumsiness.

End of July, I jump out of bed where I was sitting comfortably to turn off the lights only to have the toes of my right foot fall between the bed frame and the mattress, popping all of my toes, save the big one, in one loud POP. Dear reader, let me tell you the pain was akin to stubbing your toes to its knuckle and I easily found myself in the oohing and hissing mode of pain. The area is a bit sensitive now but not as sore as the right side of my foot. At this point I think, stupid foot. Stupid clumsy me and my stupid foot.
Wearing any shoe but a tennis shoe reminds me that my right foot is bulging and out of place or scrapes the side of the shoe where it wasn't as prominent before. I consider having a doctor look at it.

Now in the 2 weeks since then, last night, a moderately heavy camera tripod placed precariously by a door frame by yours truly, fell and landed squarely on the big toe of my bare right foot. That hurt as in a obscenity laced hurt that drops when something heavy lands on a body part hurt. Both sides of my foot are currently sore. I think my big toe is in shock.

I am surprised my foot hasn't run off in fear. It's so weird that everything happens to my right foot. It's almost like it's concentrated like a voodoo pin on a doll.

I need to stop being so clumsy.
