last person to leave, pls turn out sunasphaltedenJune 19 2007, 13:51:55 UTC
Trouble with me is that I keep finding things I want to return to.
You know, I found one of my ex-girlfriends from AGES ago on YouTube. I have no bravery to say hello, but the feeling from seeing ghosts like that is very like the weightlessness of taking off in the van/spaceship with no hope of ever landing back here again. Didn't help that she got prettier.

Mark E. Smith-always seen with pretty gals, probably because he knows a thing or two, I guess.
I suppose there are so many folks made of paste since there are so many folks out there trying hard to convince others that they are jewels. I think I'd be happy to be an apple, or something like that, but, you know, I guess I spent plenty of years as paste, myself, so what can I say.
Do you have a posse for your roadtrip or is this a solo flight around the atmosphere a la kthor.
My roadposse are three people I met through el jay, one of whom ah actually haven't met in person @ all, but that is always th way these days. No one you "know", though. I'm going to try to make some kind of documentary if they let me.--mza.
Like, if you had a movie about your trip, and there was that whole crazy episodic thing going on like, oh, Easy Rider, or something like that, I always imagine you guys would have all of these insane and uncomfortable adventures picking up psychos on the road, and tripping on the roof of the van with some prostitutes and scientists you met along the way. Then you could stop at my house for a few hours and everything would be really quiet and peaceful and psychedelic in that 1970s foliage everywhere way, and you'd be pulling out of my driveway saying, "What the hell just happened...?"

hoo haw ah have no idea how this trip will be; several of us are interested in churches. One doesn't really like drinking. One has been sort of bummed out/emotional recently. One just had a chapbook of poems published. Two just quit their jobs. One is taking sailing lessons. I wish we could stop by Chez Eden and experience yr foliage (not meant in a sexual way).--mza.

I've been spending more time in the sun. Also, I should get credit for quitting my job, as I've had almost as many work calls for my wanderin' daze as I've had in the past 6 MOs, hoz
