audition results...
Okay, gotta get this off the chest because I am insanely confused....
1. Yes, I believe Josh should definately come before Eric, simply because Josh can outplay Eric in a heartbeat...so if josh can outplay eric, doesn't that put eric further back.
2. I believe that heather belongs in windsymphony hardcore! She is an awesome player, and can learn alot on the third part sitting where she is as chair 7 with musical interpreation and all that stuff...it'll prepare her very well for leading next year. I strongly believe that heather's musical ability is stronger than eric's, simply because she is mostly in tune, can grasp things quicker and play them.
3. I have no doubt in my mind that bethany should be 2nd chiar...jake has horrible intonation, articulation, and phrasing...bethany is far more developed as a player and understands music better than alot of people, and because she loves to critique music, it makes her that much better than the person next to her...I would be rather insulted...but then again, i would challenge to get there because she deserves it
4. Marshall should be playing second with jake because those two can feed off of eachother, and jake will learn to listen and play by himself than feeding off of me....for a change. Maybe jake could work on his fuckin horrible intonation or something.
4. Eric last, god damn it cannot be repeated enough how horrible his blatting, tone, and playing is, let alone how out of tune his upper register is.....
...I hate to sound as if i am perfect because god knows im not, along with everyone else in the world, but nobody else has stepped up to the plate to lead as i do, so i continue the role....
I wonder if Mrs. Lawrence did this to motivate people to practice and challenge, because there is honestally no form of logic...at all...I wish i was behind the scenes in knowing, but im not, and we will just have to see how things play out....happy band days with fucked up chairs...
Congrats to those who are deserving of their place, and it is so unfortunate to those who have been manipulated and misplaced...I am more than certain if you know your place, you will strive your hardest to get where you deserve, if not, maybe you're there for a reason which I dont know...
