*squeee!*

This is great! I think it's the first first-person Atlantis piece I've ever really liked, but it's simple and honest and fantastic. You've characterized everyone so well. Thanks for this!

I just have to say this, because it's the first thing that came to my mind as I read this one: "They'll argue over just about anything, even whether the sky is blue."

This, I found funny, because - well, while Czech doesn't (as far as I know) have a problem with that, the Russian language has two names for blue - or rather, two blues. Kind of like, sky-blue and blue (which is more like navy, I think), and these two are considered absolutely separate colours (like red and orange for us, for instance), which makes for slight difficulties in translating jobs, for instance. Anyway, I just found it amusing and figured you might too. ;-)

OMG! Your analysis of the blue thing is hilarious. Thanks for explaining it. I would never have known. :D

Thanks. Actually that line was Jack O'Neill's direct order to John in "The Rising" when they went into the Ancient outpost.

Lol, I should have known that. I guess that means that I'll just have to go re-watch it.
