(no subject)
I bought a tree at home depot a couple days ago. I have no idea what it is, and people at Home Depot never have a clue at all about stuff... they barely know what the price of stuff is... at least the plants, hehe... I like to get stuff there cuz it's always cheap and in bad shape, so it gives me a good chance to try and rescue something that would almost certainly die in a few days anyway :-D ...
Anyway, this tree... it had an interesting look and it almost looked like someone tried to make a bonsai out of it and stopped...so that's what I'm gonna do. I've already cut alot out of the center to thin it out and make it airier. But I don't want to shape it too much until I know what it is. It would be my 3rd bonsai. One I bought already trained, one I started from scratch myself about 2 years ago, and now this one. it'll be the first of it's kind. So now I have one pine bonsai, one juniper bonsai and one mystery bonsai... errrrr... sorta eventually, lol....
I guess this officially makes me a nerd. That whole pruning miniature trees thing, hehe... but imagine... "Becca Scissorhands", then don't I become cool again? no? ok :-D I guess I'm a nerd :-p ... But it IS an artform... I try.
School starts tomorrow... not much to say about it really. I'm not excited, not dreading it, I actually like the routine of it all, and the deadlines... it gives me something to focus my mind on...
