I had to work again today. It wasn't too bad because I only had a couple things I had to do, and after that I just hung out and helped people if they needed it. Things aren't very busy because everybody's plants are already dead in their gardens because it's been 90+% for 2 months straight and they aren't allowed to water anything because it hasn't rained in months either, so nobody's buying new stuff if it's going to just die too. I want to try and work this fall on the weekends, and since I don't expect to make the tennis team, then it wouldn't be too difficult to pull off...
Carrie came by on my lunch break and brought me some fast food :-D ... Burger King... double cheeseburger and fries, lol... yummy. I think I'm the only one I know that likes them better than McDonalds. *sigh* I tried not to inhale it in front of her, but it tasted so good and I was so hungry, I decided it was no use trying to be dainty :-) ... but then again, she's seen me eat enough to know that I eat with an ummmm... healthy appetite? hehe.... By the way, I have this quirky way of eating certain things. I tend to pull things apart with my fingers and then eat it. Like the burger. Normal people would just hold it and take a bite, but I pull a bite off with my fingers and then put it in my mouth. Not always, mostly when I'm not paying attention to what I'm doing. If I want to not do it, all I have to do is concentrate on not doing it... that usually does the trick. Some people think it's funny, some people think it's cute. My parents think it's an annoying habit. But I don't know why I do it. Probably OCD related. Everything else seems to be.
Anyway, she stayed and ate with me, and that made my day alot better. She wants me to go mountain biking with her next weekend, or who knows, maybe earlier if I don't make the team. I think everything she does involves some strenuous activity, which isn't so good for a lazy-ass like me, but it should be fun.
I just have a few days left of summer break. It went by really fast as always. I'll be glad to get back though.
