New Job, New Obsession
so my job as an assistant librarian is going well. the staff is really nice. the students for the most part are good kids. i want to steal one 6th grade boy because he is just so flippin adorable. it's not that stressful of a job.
but those darn kids have started a new obsession with me. and that obsession is:
TWILIGHT!
we have a long waiting list for the twilight books. one day we had a copy waiting for a student. i read like 6 pages. came back the next day, and she still hadn't come get it. so i started reading again, and by the time i had to leave, i had read almost 200 pages. haha so then i took the book home. and read more the next day, and took it home over the weekend because she still hadn't come get it. i finished that book in 2 days.
i just couldn't put it down! i don't know what it is about these books that just suck you in! stephanie meyer is by no means the best writer. sometimes i swear a 12 year old was writing this, not an adult woman. some of the dialogue is just ridiculous. i laughed out loud while reading many times because the way she described things were ridiculously cheesy and such. she repeats herself a lot in the book too. but it's an easy read, and it flows pretty well, and the story is decent. so maybe those factors helped me become addicted to it. haha
i'm reading new moon right now. i'm taking my time on that. i felt like i read twilight too fast.
i still haven't seen the movie. grr! but i'm going to watch it illegally tonight. i have no one to go see it. and there is no local theater. so i have no idea when i would be bale to go watch it. but i still plan to watch it in the theater. i need to see some SPARKLING up close on a huge screen!
but yeah, not much else going on in my life. work, read, eat, sleep. haha

another OH! i downloaded the twilight soundtrack and i'm am SOOOOO obsessed with this iron and wine song. it's so effin beaituful.

this song seriously gives me the warm fuzzies and makes me want to cry everytime i hear it. and it has nothing to do with twilight. it's a legit AMAZING song.
