(no subject)
so aint this some shit.... i get up at 8am to head back to rochester. im on the parkway n at about mile 132 i hit traffic. whatever no big shit cause thats expected. but once the traffic dies down, im passin through a toll n my car starts actin like an idiot. it doesnt accelerate, n i cant go faster then 65mph. all this shit just happened out of the blue. i put the car on cruise at 65, n its still bad. i call my dad n he says to just keep goin. survive the trip n get it fixed tomorrow cause really, thats the only thing i can do. so i do that. now the car still sucks all the way up to the trip, i just pass the utica limits, n i have 120 miles to get to rochester, n my car is just like fuck it, im done. so i pull off to the next exit n get my car towed to a ford dealership. they take a look at it, n its my fuel pump. its fucked up. but good shit is, is that its covered under a new warrenty. the made my way expired 30k mile warrenty n upped it to 100k. sick shit! cause now the repair is freeeeeeeeeee. shitty thing is, i have to go to a motel 6 now, go to the nearby bar n get wasted cause im still not in my own room n not in class right now. but get this... how rediculous is it, that my car gets fucked up, i can use my cellphone to get a tow truck, the dealership uses a computer to check the problem n find it right away. my dad can wire money to me, n i can use it just as soon as he clicks OK. AND! theres a computer w/ internet here at the dealership for me to write my experience. can you imagine how it would be like 10 or so yrs ago? i would have been so damn fucked. i would be stuck on the side of the ny york thruway never to be helped ever. n i wouldnt have livejournal to tell everyone about it. i would have had to written like 20 letters to everyone. one being in scotland to read it. shitty. i love/hate technology.
now, things ive read/heard about while waiting. people are starting to turn the tables against PETA. people are now starting to wear more fur coats n just tellin people theyre fake. n if PETA bitches, they take action against them.
also, the media is understanding that not discipling kids is causing kids to be ruder, n less likely to obey parents, and that hitting kids may be ok again. they said that kids are acting a lot worse then they did about 20 yrs ago. does anybody remember 20 yrs ago? did anyone get a clothes hanger whipped at them for bein a little idiot? cause i do. im so happy to hear that america is realizing that being a giant vag w/ this non-violence tactic to raise children has turned out to be crap.
