Holy Ass Rape Batman. New Orleans strikes again!
I write from a small coffee shop in New Orleans called Zotz. I just had the most surreal experience, which is not surprising because this story is involves Drew.
Picture me and my laptop and a glass of ice tea. I play WoW; the tea runs out. I go to the counter to get more tea, and as I stand in line the music on the radio changes. The song that starts to play surprises me at first but as it continues I rationalize it to myself. By the time it is my turn at the counter I ask the barrister "Is the Neutral Milk?" "no" he says. I then realize that something odd is about to happen. "Then it is Radio Luxembourg isn't it."
I have to say I expected more shock from the barrister, but he did seem kinda surprised. I asked him how he knew the band and he told me he was Drew's best friend back in 10th grade. So odd. Even if the people in question are thousands of mile apart this city can still bring people together.
