phantom blogging

I was just, a few seconds ago, inspired by Phantom Planet's blog to start blogging.

I didnt even read the blog. Here's the chain of events:

I saw Ben Lee on the music myspace homepage, and I clicked on it because Ben Lee is pretty cool, hence the Ben Folds/Ben Kweller collaboration...

I'm on Ben Lee's myspace and I see tha one of his top friends is Rooney. I'm like woah, i used to be obsessed with Rooney.. so I click on them to see if they have new stuff.

Well they do have new stuff, but I got distracted because I saw that Phantom Planet was on THEIR friends list. Obviously, since Phantom Planet's old drummer Jason Shwartzman (AMAZING) is Robert Carmine (lead singer of Rooney.. signed my shoe.)'s brother.

So i go on phantom planet's website and they have new stuff... somehow i got linked to youtube and watched this video of them and tom green blogging and they were like "go to our blog at blog.sonymusic.com/phantomplanet" or something like that, so i did out of curiousity and read the first blog and watched some of their videos which were hilarious...

actually i didnt even read the whole blog. I read the title that was something about Noodles and i was like man... i need to blog.

which is kind of a sad impulse. you know, the reason i stopped blogging was because there are WAY too many sources to blog on. If i write something interesting do I want to post it on here? Do i want to post it on a myspace bulletin? In a myspace blog? in my own journal? see... there are just too many options and i cannot bring myself to post more than once.

aaand i just lost inspiration. damnit.

goodnight.
