i feel like this whole thought is a human fabrication. it seems absurd to think that there would only be one singular individual to dominate as lord and savior (ie only believing in jesus or only muhammad as son of god etc.) and that there wouldnt be a more universally and culturally accepting way to reach transcendentalism (if you honestly believe in such a dark ages/catholic world view that you need someone else to mediate for you to reach god). with all of the diversity and nations of the world why would god pick one man to spread the news of his love and supremacy?

the whole 'son of god' idea just seems to be an extension of political hierarchy and rulership (deriving from male domination) that drifted over into religious leadership. it seems to be more of a primitive construction on humanity's part than any sort of spiritual truth.

this should be easier:

what could you honestly say to prove jesus is the son of god that would not be applicable to muhammad as well.

and i don't mean some statement about the crucifixion or resurrection because i don't believe you can actually prove that.

here are some versus in the old testament that i have found

1 Chronicles 17:13a..."I will be His Father, He...my Son."
Psalms 2:2...To own the title, Anointed
Psalms 2:6...To own the title King
Psalms 22:16 they have pierced my hands and my feet.

17 I can count all my bones;
people stare and gloat over me.

18 They divide my garments among them
and cast lots for my clothing.
(this sorta nails the new testament right on)

2 Samuel 7:14a...The Son of God
Proverbs 8:22-23…The Messiah would be from everlasting
Isaiah 7:14...To be of virgin birth and called Emmanuel (God with us)
and this one is a good one

6 For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

i really like the book isaiah it has a lot of interesting stuff in it but i guess these are the versus i found

well first i think we might be confused on the old testament and torah because i think the torah is just the first 5 books of the old testament but anyways in like it says in isaiah 9:6 to us a son is given... and he will be called mighty God and in 2 samuel 7:14 the son of god and also 1 chronicles 17:13 i will be his father and he my son

i like how at first you where against sorta to say "religion" with your statement about how just jesus or just muhammid being ruller is "absurd" "it seems absurd to think that there would only be one singular individual to dominate as lord and savior (ie only believing in jesus or only muhammad as son of god etc.)" where as now your going for muhammad

also i could not say anything to prove anything because i believe you cant actually prove his resurrection either but thats where "faith" comes in

its not like you can even prove that either of them existed at all though, let alone something like being the son of god
