Just watched The Fall, thank you so so much again KC. I absolutely adored it, such a beautiful movie. It was sooo visually stunning and I don't just mean Lee Pace who was beyond pretty but just the whole thing, one of the most gorgeous films I've ever seen. It had me smiling so big at points and crying hard at others, which is always the mark of a good film in my book. And OMGosh the little girl, Alexandria, was just abput the cutest little thing I've ever seen! Aaaawwww. Seriously recommend that anyone who hasn't already seen this should do so, gotta admit that I've wanted to see it for so long I had wondered if it would live up to it but it did and more. :D

RIGHT!!!! *FLAILS*

I'M ALWAYS UP FOR DISCUSSION OF THIS MOVIE SO SHOOT, IF YOU'RE INTERESTED! :D

ETA: Now that I'm a bit more composed:

Did you know that the visuals are real? By that, I mean, no CGI involved. They are ALL real places someone on this little place we call Planet Earth. Isn't that astonishing?!

I'm totally with you on the laughing/crying = excellent film. This movie was so genuine! I just don't know how to describe it. But it's so ... real. It feels like - as wild as the ride is - it could easily happen.

Alexandria was the epitome of adorable in this film. She didn't know any English was she filmed it (basically learning on the way from the director, Tarsem, or others). And everything she did was really natural, not acted. She gave an absolutely riveting performance. And Lee Pace was just ... GUH! If he makes another movie with a character like Roy/Masked Bandit, a part of me will be happy that Pushing Daisies ended for it (just a little part of me though. Because I still miss my happy show!)

OKAY, NOW BEGIN THE FLAILING. :)

Sorry for being late at replying.

SQUEEEE! This movie was so worth the wait to see it. :D

That was all real?!?!? o_O WOW! It was seriously some of the most beautiful stuff I've seen in a movie ever, and to thinks it's all out there some where...amazing! :)

'Genuine' and 'real', you know they are two really great words to describe this movie, and you're right it could totally happen. I think it was one of those movies that really involves you and takes you on thr journey with them and I loved that.

I swear she was just about the cutest thing I have ever seen, she did and absolutely fabulous job bless her. And to think she didn't know any English, wow she's a fantastic little actress although I agree with you on her being really natural.

OMG, I think Lee Pace could do just about anything and make it brilliant, there's something really intriuging about him and he's rather easy to look at right?! ;) Have you seen 'Miss Pettigrew Lives for a Day'? That's on my must watch list, Amy Adams and Lee Pace, perfect! :D

So YAY movie! There really should be more love out there for it, if it hadn't have been for Pushing Daisies and well you I would never have heard about it.

Random extra titbit on a slightly related not, I was telling my sister about it and she asked who was it and I said Lee Pace and she asked who was that? (Yeah, I know right?) So I tell her he's the guy from Pushing Daisies. She says "Oh, the guy who does this?" she then reaches out with her index finger and taps Kyra, LOL! "Yeah, that's the one"! Oh, Hayleigh, she can amuse the hell out of me on occasion! xD

I'll have to get me a The Fall icon now! ;) Which reminds me I haven't actually deleted anything yet.....

Yes, it was all REAL! I couldn't believe it myself until I checked out the behind-the-scenes (which you definitely should if KC hooked you up with those as well!)

I'm glad you know what I mean and I don't just like some ramblin' loon (like I usually do. Haha!) But, yes, the movie's very genuine and touching. And, you're right, it TOTALLY sucks you in, makes you laugh and cry with them, rather than just watching objectively. *sniff*

She was so freakin' precious! And again, if you watch the Behind-the-Scenes, she does some even more precious-cutesy stuff. *steals her* GAH! ♥ (You can find edited versions of Behind-the-Scenes in my favs on youtube).

(On a sidenote, I think part of the reason for her adorableness is that she didn't understand English very well. Her and Lee just trying to communicate was one of the most precious things in the film - "it saves your soul. Do you know what a soul is?" "What!?!" ♥♥♥ And to think that that's one of the most profound scenes in the film, AND one of the cutest! Oh, these actors!!!)

I haven't seen Lee Pace in MPLfaD, but that's also on my "To Watch" list b/c OMG!BRITISH!LEE! ♥ LOL. He's supposedly in it very little, but I think people have enjoyed it otherwise. ;)

Ha! I love how I'm an instigator for people to watch this movie! But, yeah, it's sadly very unheard of and unappreciated!

LOLZ! But Ned can NEVER poke his doggie because that means Digby would die! *hides at the thought*

Yeah, you do!! lol. ♥
